TEATIME TRADITIONS

A book of Teatime Cookery from the authors of the MADISON COUNTY COOKBOOK, Winterset, Iowa St. Joseph parish in Winterset, Iowa first brought you the Madison County Cookbook. Once again, we have gone to our recipe files so we can share with you our favorite old and new teatime recipes in our latest cookbook TEATIME TRADITIONS.

Each section of this cookbook will introduce you to a different teatime theme, with a variety of both sweet and savory recipes that make each theme a special occasion. The sweet recipes include such things as: Dundee cake, glazed cashew shortbread, strawberry tarts, cranberry nut swirls and marble swirl pound cake. The savory recipes include: ham and cheese patties, fancy tea sandwiches, Cornish pasties, onion and tomato tarts.

So brew yourself a pot of tea, get comfortable and take some time to wander through the pages of this cookery book. We hope you get lots of ideas for your next tea party. Best Wishes, The Cookbook Committee.

Twas very small Three guests in all---

Myself ate up the sandwiches
While I drank all the tea,
Twas also I who ate the pie
And passed the bars to Me.
